It’s that time of year again – the 2017 edition of the Pokémon World Championships! This year’s Worlds events, spanning from Friday the 18th of August to Sunday the 20th of August, includes the Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC), Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and Pokkén Tournament (for Wii U). All events are streamed live by The Pokémon Company International. Check back over the weekend to watch the stream in this article when the event starts at 9 am PT!
The schedule for the main stream, alongside other streams of individual events, is as follows:
Friday:
- 9 am: Opening Ceremony
- 10 am – 1:45 pm: Pokémon TCG Swiss rounds
- 2 pm – 6 pm: VG Swiss Rounds
Saturday:
- 9 am – 3:15 pm: Pokémon TCG Swiss Rounds
- 3:30 pm – 5 pm: Pokkén Tournament Top 4 & Finals
- 5:30 pm – 10 pm: Pokémon VGC Top Cut
Sunday:
- 9 am: Pokémon TCG Junior Division Finals
- Immediately following: Pokémon TCG Senior Division Finals
- Immediately following: Pokémon TCG Masters Division Finals
- 30-minute break
- Immediately following: VGC Junior Division Finals
- Immediately following: VGC Senior Division Finals
- Immediately following: VGC Masters Division Finals
Pokémon TCG Channel
Friday:
- 10 am – 7 pm: Pokémon TCG Swiss Rounds
Saturday:
- 9 am – 5 pm: Pokémon TCG Swiss Rounds
- 6 pm –10 pm: Pokémon TCG Top Cut
