Project Voltage’s Jolting Nostalgia

While a majority of the Project Voltage songs primarily focus on aspects of the Kanto Region, these next four songs are focused around some of the other regions, the tunes sampled might even make the listener nostalgic.

While a majority of the Project Voltage songs primarily focus on aspects of the Kanto Region, these next four songs are focused around some of the other regions; the tunes sampled might even make the listener feel nostalgic.

Mugen no Ticket is the thirteenth song in the series written by Marasay, a pianist. It is a song all about Latias and Latios and is a duet performed by Miku and KAITO.

In addition, the name in itself is an Easter Egg. Mugen Ticket is the Japanese name for the Event Item, Eon Ticket. Mugen is Japanese for infinite. All the themes sampled relate to water routes and Latias and Latios in some way.

The themes sampled are as follows:

Party Rock Eternity is a song by Hachioujip. It follows Team Rocket member Miku as she proceeds to take over the Radio Tower similar to that of the original Pokémon Gold and Silver games. Every single theme sampled is Team Rocket related.

The Pokémon featured in this song are also species Team Rocket has used in the first four or so generations.

The themes sampled are:

Journey’s Prequels, Journey’s Traces is a song by IyowaIt is about a very young Miku with her partner Pokémon Pichu and the fun they have together. This song has almost no themes sampled aside from the Evolution theme.

The song came out on Pokémon Day 2024 and features some imagery of Key Items seen in the Pokémon games. It is also drawn in a manga style.

Pichu can also be seen shocking itself in the music video, which is a reference to many of its past Pokédex entries.

The Easter Eggs are as follows:

Esper Esper is a song by Nayutalien. It features the producer’s alien character and is sung by Hatsune Miku. This song is all about the Psychic Type and features only Pokémon from this type.
