Simple Symphony Online Competition announced

This competition only allows single-type Pokémon to be used. Z-Moves are allowed, but Mega Stones are not.

January’s Online Competition for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has been announced, the Simple Symphony. Unlike the previous competition, the November International Challenge, which used the VGC19 Sun Series rules, this one has its own set of special rules.

This competition will consist of Single Battles. Players will bring six Pokémon to the battle, but can only pick three to battle with, and each Pokémon, as per the norm, will be set to Level 50. Duplicate items and Mega Stones are not permitted, however Z-Crystals are permitted. However, there are no region restrictions with Pokémon, so Pokémon from previous generations can be used.

Participants will receive 50 Battle Points, and must compete in at least one battle to qualify.

Registration begins Tuesday January 15 2019, at 00:00 UTC, and will close Thursday January 24 2019, at 23:59 UTC. Battles will take place Friday January 25 2019, at 00:00 UTC, until Sunday January 27 2019, at 23:59 UTC.
