New Pokkén character to be announced soon
Nintendo will announce a new character for the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament soon.
In accordance with Nintendo’s tendencies, the official Twitter account of Pokkén Tournament, the popular crossover between the Pokémon and Tekken series, has announced that it will soon announce a new playable character for the arcade version of the game.
The announcement is to happen on 1st December, and no details as to what character is to be added have been shown thus far. Also unrevealed is the fate of this new character as it relates to the Wii U version of the game, which has yet to get any new playable characters since its release.
10月の「ハッサム」、11月の「グレッグル」に続き、12月にも新たなバトルポケモンが参戦することが決定!

Current speculation is that the new fighter will be Empoleon, the final evolution of Sinnoh starter Pokémon Piplup. This is due to some hints found in the game’s code prior to the most recent character announcement, in which they confirmed Croagunk as a playable character. Of course, the last announcement was also expected to be Empoleon, so we still can’t be sure. It is also assumed that this new character will not come to the Wii U version until later notice.
Are you excited for a new addition of the game? Any character you would really like to see added? Tell us in the comments!
