A video has been released on various Pokémon YouTube channels to introduce a new Pokémon – Poltchageist! It’s a Grass/Ghost type which spills matcha powder on things to fix them – how nice! And also spills matcha on people to steal their life…

It seems to be a Convergent version of Sinistea (as revealed by the Japanese webpage – not Polteageist!), just with some more soul stealing and matcha tea. Whether it also has an evolution within the DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet remains to be seen.

It also has its Ability revealed:

Poltchageist’s Ability, Hospitality, is being introduced in the DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. When a Pokémon with this Ability enters a battle, it showers its ally with hospitality, restoring a small amount of the ally’s HP.​
