Pokkén Tournament to feature in Pokémon World Championships 2017
Will we see updates to the Wii U version before Worlds begins?
The Japanese Twitter account for Pokkén Tournament announced that the game will feature in this year’s Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim, California.

There aren’t many details to go on beyond that such as qualification and the date of the Pokémon World Championships. The announcement is also surprising given the lack of Pokkén Tournament at competitions already held this year. Furthermore, the Wii U version of the game is yet to receive any updates seen for the arcade version, such as new characters like Darkrai and Empoleon.
What do you think of the surprise announcement for Pokémon World Championships 2017?
