Missing Mega Stones to be distributed for Pokémon Sun and Moon

You’ll be able to get your hands on Mawile and Beedrill’s Mega Stones in generation 7 by participating in an upcoming online competition!

The Japanese Global Link site has released an announcement regarding currently unobtainable Mega Stones within Pokémon Sun and Moon. Despite the update, Pokémon Bank remains incompatible with items, and so items in generation six cannot be transferred. However, they may not remain unobtainable forever!

The website acknowledged queries have been made about Mega Stones. A lack of Mega Stones renders many Pokémon such as Mawile and Beedrill without their Mega evolutions. The items for these two Pokémon in particular, Mawilite and Beedrillite, will be made available for participants in an Online Competition to be hosted in late February. The article also stated that other Mega Stones will be distributed through similar events later in the year.

However, Mega Evolution remains banned for the 2017 edition of the video Game Championships (VGC).

Are you excited about access to other Mega Evolutions? Does this make you more inclined to participate in the Online Competitions? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
