Japan is the first of the Asian countries to get Pokémon GO.
We get English names and new Pokémon, complete with a trailer video. We also get ‘Hyper Training’, the first way to IV train!
US players can participate in Trading Card Game battles, and nab online codes for special TCG cards with purchases as well.
Darkrai is the newest playable character – but only for the arcade version for now.
The update brings some fixes to game crashes and solves an oversight with Google account privacy for iOS users.
Two new Pokémon are revealed: Kiteruguma and Mimikkyu. They’re not quite the usual sort…
The game is now free to download in Australia, Japan and now America on Apple and Android devices.
