Shiny Wailmer part of Pokémon GO Earth Day event
More like Earth week, as the event has also been extended!
Following clean-up events in selected places around the world for Pokémon GO‘s celebration of Earth Day, a reward has been granted to all players! The current known details are as follows:
- Triple Stardust is earned for catching Water, Grass and Ground types
- Spawns have been increased, both in number and of rarer Pokémon, particularly of Water/Grass/Ground types
- Wailmer can now be caught in its Shiny form

The event now runs until the end of the month, as tweeted by Niantic’s account for the game.
