Mareep is the next Pokémon GO Community Day Pokémon

Mareep is the next Pokémon to feature in Pokémon GO‘s Community Day event on the 15th of April. Like before it is surely to come with an increased chance to be Shiny. For players who haven’t yet walked hundreds of kilometers or gotten quite lucky with Egg hatches, this will be a welcome way to catch enough to obtain Candy for that elusive Ampharos!
As before, the event will last for three hours, as will Lures used during then. Egg hatch distances will be decreased to a quarter for the event. The special move evolved Flaaffy learn during the event will be revealed shortly before the event starts.
