For keen Pokémon players buying the game digitally, Pokémon Sun and Moon are now available on the eShop for preload. You can download the games ahead of the launch on the 18th November 2016 (23rd November for Europeans), and play as soon as it goes live on the day. You won’t be able to play the game early. Preloading allows you to purchase the game before release, download the bulk of the file, and at midnight on release day download an additional update that allows you to play.

European players have access to a gift for downloading – 12 Quick Balls to use in the game.
