This is when Pokémon Legends: Z-A is releasing

Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s release date, a bit of new information, and boxart just dropped — the game is out October 16 on Switch and Switch 2.

Newly announced on the Pokémon social media accounts is the release date and some fresh key art for Pokémon Legends: Z-A!

The games are officially to be released on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2025! What’s more, it has been clarified that the upgrade pack will boast improved graphics on top of its improved frame rate (the latter being the only key point highlighted on the Nintendo Switch 2 website). Further per the official Pokémon Legends: Z-A website, the Switch 2 Edition, much like other Switch 2 Edition games, is playable on the Nintendo Switch series of systems, minus the Switch 2-specific “additional content.”
