Pokémon Sword and Shield soundtrack now on Nintendo Music

The Nintendo Music app has added a whole new Pokémon soundtrack – you can enjoy close to 5 hours of tunes from Pokémon Sword and Shield!

The soundtrack for Pokémon Sword and Shield, the generation eight games based on the United Kingdom, has been added to the Nintendo Music app today.

This soundtrack features 138 tracks, with a runtime of 4 hours and 43 minutes. That includes all the tracks from the two DLC parts of the game: The Isle of Armour and The Crown Tundra. Remember that you’ll need a Switch Online base tier membership to be able to access the Nintendo Music app.

One disappointing aspect is that there is no information on the composers for each track. This is available from the physical soundtrack release – however, no soundtrack available on Nintendo Music comes with this information.

We did a deep dive into the Pokémon Sword and Shield soundtrack back when the game released and reviewed it. We also did a follow-up article on many of the tracks in the DLC. Give the soundtrack a listen through the Nintendo Music app, and then see if you agree with our opinions!
