Poké Times Twitter account shares interactions with Pikachu and Eevee

The official Japanese Pokémon news account has posted clips of how to interact with the games’ titular Pokémon.

The Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee trailer first showed the ability to interact with Pikachu and Eevee, petting the Pokémon much like Pokémon-Amie and Pokémon Refresh have allowed in previous Pokémon games. It also demoed the ability to dress the Pokémon up in a variety of outfits.

The official “Pokémon Information Bureau” Pokémon Twitter account, which shares news and information to Japanese Pokémon fans, today shared two videos demonstrating the outfits and various interactions with Pikachu and Eevee:

The tweets show off what the Pokémon look like with Pink Flower Blossoms and Cute Ribbons attached to them. They also point out their adorable animations as you interact with them, whether it’s through Eevee attempting to high-five the player when the player taps the area near it, or how Pikachu will stare around when it isn’t being interacted with.

Also note the Berry icon in the bottom-right corner — perhaps you’ll increase your Pikachu or Eevee’s happiness by feeding it Razz Berries this time? What if, like with feeding berries in Gyms within Pokémon GO, you may be able to get bonus Candy, too, which you can increase your Pokémon’s stats with?

You also get to hear Pallet Town’s theme! How’s that for a nostalgia overload?
