The fifth Online Competition for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has recently been announced on the Pokémon Global Link. This is the Ultra Kalos Classic, which restricts the Pokémon used to those available in the Kalos Pokédex.

In a similar vein to the Ultra Sinnoh Classic, this Online Competition will consist of Single Battles. Players will bring six Pokémon to the battle, but can only pick three to battle with. Each Pokémon, as per the norm, will be set to Level 50, but there are no region restrictions, so Pokémon from previous generations can be used. There are, however, item restrictions; alongside the duplicate items clause, Z-Crystals are banned entirely. Mega Stones from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire cannot be used either.

Participants will receive 50 Battle Points, and must compete in at least one battle to qualify.

Registration begins Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 00:00 UTC, and will close Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 23:59 UTC. Battles will take place Friday, April 27, 2018, at 00:00 UTC, until Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 23:59 UTC.
