The official Pokémon Twitter account recently announced that a seven-episode series of animated shorts, titled Pokémon: Twilight Wings, are set to air January 2020. The series is a spinoff separate from Ash’s adventures in Pokémon: The Series and will feature the Galar region.

These short episodes will be five minutes in length. Animation will be provided by Studio Colorido, who animated titles such as Penguin Highway.

Pokémon: Twilight Wings will be the second spinoff series introduced to the franchise following Pokémon Generations, which aired late 2016. You will be able to watch this new series on the Official Pokémon YouTube channel on January 15th, 2020.
