Niantic announce battles coming to Pokémon GO
Initially teased on Twitter, we have confirmation that Trainer battles in some form are coming!
Niantic have announced that Trainer battles are coming to Pokémon GO in a new tweet.

Earlier in the day, Niantic teased the announcement via the official Pokémon GO Twitter account. Thus far the only other detail we have is that there will be three Trainer Battle Leagues: Great, Ultra and Master. Each league will have a different limit on what CP a Pokémon can have to be used. Great is 1,500 CP or less, Ultra is 2,500 CP or lower, and Master has no limit.
