Reshiram and Zekrom distribution for Pokémon Sun and Moon

Reshiram and Zekrom are now available to take with you on your Alolan adventures!

The Pokémon Company have just announced two exciting distributions for October across the US and UK: Reshiram and Zekrom! During October, you can grab these dragons and add them to your Alolan adventure; Reshiram will be available on Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Ultra Moon, whilst Zekrom will be on Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Bear in mind that the Pokémon themselves will be different, depending on whether you are playing the vanilla or Ultra version of the game. The Pokémon will be level 60 on the former and level 100 on the latter. They will be holding a Gold Bottle Cap on the Ultra versions of the games, but will be itemless on the vanilla versions. The United Kingdom will be able to obtain them via Nintendo Network, whilst the United States can visit Target Stores to get theirs. The dates are as follows:

UK – 5th-21st October 2018
US – 19th-28th October 2018

To obtain Reshiram and Zekrom in the United Kingdom, follow the instructions below (as per The Pokémon Company website):

  1. Open your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.

  2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.

  3. Select Receive Gift.

  4. Select Get via Internet, then Yes to connect to the internet.

  5. Watch as the Legendary Pokémon arrives in your game!

  6. Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Legendary Pokémon.

  7. Be sure to save your game.

and to obtain Reshiram and Zekrom in the United States, follow these instructions below (as per The Pokémon Company website):

  1. Open your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.

  2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.

  3. Select Receive Gift.

  4. Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.

  5. Enter your code.

  6. Watch as the Legendary Pokémon arrives in your game!

  7. Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Legendary Pokémon.

  8. Be sure to save your game.
