Registration for the next online competition, Mega Melee, is underway on the Pokémon Global Link! The Pokémon Company International made an announcement yesterday about the event, and it’s centered around Mega Evolution!

The way the competition will work is that each competitor will have a party of six Pokémon that all have the ability to Mega-Evolve. Unfortunately, duplicate Pokémon and items are not permitted. Only one Pokémon will enter each battle, and the level of both Pokémon will be set to Level 50. All eligible trainers will receive 50 Battle Points, and must have battled at least one time in order to be eligible.

The event runs from Friday, September 22, 2017 at 00:00 UTC until Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 23:59 UTC.
