[Registration live] Pokémon World Championships spectator prices released

You’ll have to fork out $10 to $30 to watch this year’s Worlds events, but you’ll get TCG booster packs! Registration is now live!

Update: Registration for TCG and VG competitors and spectators and is now open

The 2017 Pokémon World Championships, held at the Anaheim Convention Centre in Anaheim, California on the 18-20 August, have announced pricing for spectators. To simply watch any of the events, you’ll need to pay $10 through an online registration process (not yet open). You’ll be able to watch any event, and will also get 2 booster packs of Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) cards.

Those who wish to participate in Worlds can register for the Last Chance Qualifier competition for Pokkén Tournament. This costs $30 but also includes six Pokémon TCG booster packs.

This is an improvement to last year, where the event was closed to the general public.

Lastly, there will be an additional side event for TCG and video game players: the Anaheim Open. This event runs on the 19th and 20th of August. Entry costs $30 for Master Division players (ages 18 and above) and $15 for Junior and Senior Divisions.

Are you planning to head down to watch this year’s events?
