So some people may have missed out on Gamestop’s Mythical Genesect giveaway that was live back in November. If you happened to be one of the unlucky ones, then it’s time to rejoice! The Pokémon Company has just given trainers in North America and Europe a second opportunity to obtain Genesect!

Starting February 1st, trainers can download Genesect via a Mystery Gift code which is downloaded onto one of the following games:

• Pokémon X
• Pokémon Y
• Pokémon Omega Ruby
• Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

This is done by going onto the ‘Mystery Gift’ option when you start the game and then choosing to ‘Get via Code’ when you select ‘Receive Gift’. Once downloaded onto there, all you need to do is transfer the Genesect to your copy of Pokémon Sun/Pokémon Moon, using the Pokémon Bank.

A few points to note:

• If you obtained Genesect in the November event, then you will NOT be able to download this one.
• This is the exact same Genesect as previous, meaning it will be level 100 and have access to Techno Blast, Magnet Bomb, Solar Beam and Signal Beam.
• This event ends on February 28th.

The code for North America is GENESECT20, whereas Europe’s is GENESECT2016.
