Pokémon Sun and Moon Starters final evolutions revealed

Their TCG cards and art were accidentally revealed early! There’s no typings and only their Japanese names, but we know what they look like now!

EDIT: We now have the official English names and Typings. Check this article for more details!

Sun and Moon Final Starter forms and Island Guardians revealed with typings

Today the Japanese Pokémon Twitter account revealed the final evolution forms of the Pokémon Sun and Moon Starter Pokémon Rowlet, Litten and Popplio in a tweet. Their forms come from Trading Card Game (TCG) cards and artwork. This isn’t the first time the TCG revealed Pokémon. The tweet in question was deleted already, but not before Pokémon fans took notice and quickly saved and re-posted the image.

We have their Japanese names as well! Rowlet’s final form is Junaipa (ジュナイパー), Litten’s is Gaogaen (ガオガエン) and Popplio’s is Ashireene (アシレーヌ). That’s all we have – their TCG information only gives a single typing for each, but this is normal.

Notably, these confirm the so-called ‘Chinese leaks’ floating around the internet. People who followed the datamined spoilers already knew this, but now we have TCG art and hence ‘official’ confirmation. What do you think of the final evolutions of the Sun and Moon starter Pokémon? What do you think their typing is?
