Famitsu rules out certain Alolan Forms
Nothing special about this batch of Kanto Pokémon! Check the scans here.
The Japanese video game magazine Famitsu has had scans revealed of its latest issue. Included in the latest edition is Pokémon Sun and Moon information. While we get repeats of news we already know (such as generation 7 Pokémon already seen), we also learn of other Kanto Pokémon found in Alola. However, these Famitsu scans shows us these Pokémon in their original form. Thus it is assumed they don’t get Alolan Forms.
The Pokémon include:
- Spearow/Fearow
- Zubat/Golbat/Crobat
- Psyduck/Golduck
- Growlithe/Arcanine
- Pinsir
- Magikarp/Gyarados
- Lapras
- Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite
Fans of Arcanine may be particularly annoyed given its fellow Fire type, Ninetales, gained an Alolan Form. This news was already suspected given their appearance on the Japanese Sun and Moon website, but now we have further confirmation.
