PokéCommunity Daily is hiring! We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join the Daily writing teams. Note that you do not have to join the Daily team to write articles for Daily — but you do get a whole bunch of perks!

EDIT: This hiring run is now closed. While we may consider other applications that come through, the need for more people may have substantially diminished.

This time around, we’re focusing on the following roles, although all positions are open:

• Headline Writer. As Pokémon Sun and Moon approaches, we’ll need people on hand to help put up prompt articles describing the latest news. This can be a quick few sentences and accompanying information (e.g. video trailer) – such articles don’t need to be in-depth! But they do need to be put up quickly.
• In-Depth News Writer. As an in-depth writer, you’ll post extensive coverage of the trending Pokémon news stories. You’ll pick up on a topic of interest and make sure the whole world knows what it’s about while it’s hot news!
• Fanbase Features Writer. In particular, we’re seeking people to help cover ROM Hacking, as this is a section we’re lacking in. We’re also encouraging people who will cover other aspects of the fandom (e.g. writers, artists) to apply.
• Proofreader. This new position is solely for those who want to help out but don’t want to write new articles! This role involves editing existing articles, uploading approved articles to WordPress and responding to ideas pitched by other members.
