Watch This Crystal Hack for Twitch Plays Pokémon’s Second Anniversary

Celebrating the second anniversary of Twitch Plays Pokémon, viewers control “Evan” in extensive Pokémon Crystal ROM hack.

Can you believe it’s been two years since Twitch Plays Pokémon went viral and graced our screens? Twitch Plays Pokémon returns for its anniversary with an extensive hack of Pokémon Crystal — starting in Pallet Town for a 251 Pokémon run, Twitch viewers can once again flood the chat with commands (often leading to repeated commands of up, down, left, right, a, b, start, select) or work together (“democracy”) to get things done.

The Crystal hack features content added by a dedicated team of hackers including PokéCommunity member and Pokémon Brown and Prism author Coolboyman.

“Jake”, known as Hiroshi Sotomura on The PokéCommunity, is a contributing writer and one of the founders of PokéCommunity Daily.
