[Updated July 1] 7 New Pokémon Leaked For Pokémon Sun & Moon

On the coming end of a news conference soon for Pokémon Sun and Moon, new Pokémon are suddenly leaked.

Update 2016/7/01: As part of the news that was to come July 1st, we now have localized footage showing the new Pokémon from the Japanese trailer.

Update: The New Pokémon have been confirmed through a video on Pokémon Japan’s YouTube Channel.

Here’s what we’ve learnt about the seven new Pokémon:

tapu koko

Tapu Koko was the first Pokémon shown in the video. It is an Electric/Fairy type and was shown under the control of Hala. It is the guardian of Melemele. It has the new ability Elekimaker, which activates Electric Terrain when sent on the field.

charjabug

Charjabug is the evolution of Grubbin, the previously-revealed early Bug-type Pokémon. Charjabug is a Bug/Electric-type Pokémon and is seen inching around in the grass.

vikavolt

Vikavolt is Charjabug’s evolution, and it too is a Bug/Electric-type Pokémon. In the video, it is seen using Zap Cannon.

Drampa

Drampa is a Normal/Dragon-type Pokémon with the new ability Frenzy, which raises its Special Attack through unknown situations, potentially when hit by Super-Effective moves.

Bruxish

The next Pokémon shown was the Water/Psychic-type Bruxish. It has the new ability Dazzle, which prevents priority moves from working.

Cutiefly

Cutiefly was revealed to be a Bug/Fairy-type Pokémon. It is shown using Fairy Wind.

Togedemaru

The final new Pokémon shown was Togedemaru, an Electric/Steel-type Pokémon shown using Discharge. It appears to be the Pikachu-clone of Sun/Moon.

We received a lot of new type combinations, and learnt of many Electric-types. What are your thoughts?

Get your Pokédexes ready, fellow trainers! A whole lot of new Pokémon have just emerged.

On June 30th, 2016, a YouTuber by the handle L-Effect uploaded a slew of videos which appear to showcase a lineup of new Pokémon from the Alola region that have never been revealed before. In total, 7 videos were uploaded, each depicting a new Pokemon.

As such, screenshots have been taken of the new Pokemon:

While speculation may arise because of the suddenness of these videos, evidence seems to indicate that these videos are indeed valid. The character models mimic the graphical style of footage already released for Pokémon Sun and Moon, and the battle backgrounds are the exact same ones from the footage showcased at this year’s E3. Furthermore, with there being an impending news conference tomorrow related to more Pokemon Sun and Moon content, it it entirely possible that these leaks are related to what is soon to be announced.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are slated for release on November 18th, 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS.

So what do you guys think? Any of these Pokémon catch your eye? Let us know in the comments below!
