If you are currently a member of the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter, you’re in for a treat. If you haven’t signed up already, you might want to look into this.

It has been recently announced, thanks to an article via Serebii.net, that recipients of the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter will be receiving a Serial Code to receive the legendary Pokémon Mew.  Eligible participants for this promotion only consists of members who have signed up for the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter by June 1st of this year. EDIT: The serial code has now been released. It is ‘MEW2016‘.

This Mew special event is a continuation of the Pokémon 20th event that happened in February of this year via the video game retail store GameStop. If you’ve already redeemed your code for a Mew from the prior event, you will not be able to receive another one. The code must be submitted in either Pokémon X and Y or Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire by August 31st, 2016 or the code will be voided.

The Pokémon Trainer Club is an online medium that allows users to manage their Pokémon video games online, connect with other users in tournaments and battles, as well as play the Pokémon card game online. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter to receive this Mew, a link to the site can be found here.
